Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2025

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how Yobi Mobi, LLC (d/b/a Social Home) ("Social Home," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit or use our websites, mobile applications, products, and services (collectively, the "Services"). It also describes your privacy rights and how you can exercise them.

Google Play Compliance — Social Home follows Google Play Developer Program Policies and the Google Play User Data policy. We disclose the data we collect, our purposes for processing it, and any sharing with third parties. Sensitive permissions (e.g., microphone, location) are requested through Android’s runtime permission system and are used only for core, user‑facing features.

Not for Children Under 18 — The Services are not intended for anyone under 18. If you are under 18, do not install or use Social Home.

We may update this Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent changes. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect signifies acceptance of the revised Policy.

1  Information We Collect

We collect information in three main ways:

  1. You provide it (e.g., when you interact with the Services or contact us).

  2. Automatically from your device via SDKs, cookies, and similar technologies.

  3. From third‑party partners that help us operate or improve the Services.

1.1  User Information

  • Interaction data (taps, swipes, search queries)

  • An internal User ID we assign to personalize your experience

  • IP address and general location derived from IP

1.2  Device & Diagnostic Information

  • Device identifiers (e.g., Android ID, advertising ID)

  • OS version, device model, mobile network

  • Precise or approximate location (only if you grant permission)

  • App usage & interaction data (launches, feature use, crash logs)

  • Installed app list (package names) for theming suggestions, compatibility checks, and malware scanning (via Trustlook SDK; see §1.11)

1.3  Media & Files (Optional)

If you grant storage permission, we may access:

  • Images, videos, audio & other files to let you pick custom wallpapers, icons, and ringtones or to back up your theme settings.

1.4  Microphone (Optional)

If you enable voice search or voice commands, we access the microphone only when you tap the voice icon. Audio is processed locally or sent to trusted speech‑to‑text providers; recordings are not kept after transcription unless needed to complete your request.

1.5  Categorized List of Data Collected (Past 12 Months)

We do not collect: social security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial account numbers, precise health or fitness metrics, or biometric templates.

1.6  Cookies & Similar Technologies

Our websites use cookies and web beacons to remember preferences, measure site performance, and serve relevant content. You may disable cookies in your browser, but some features might not work.

1.7  Third‑Party Sources

We may receive aggregated analytics or advertising data from partners (e.g., Google Analytics, ad networks) that does not directly identify you.

1.8  No Data From Minors

We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently done so, we will delete it.

1.9  Antivirus & Security SDK (§1.11)

Social Home integrates the Trustlook Security SDK to scan installed APKs for malware. The SDK reads file hashes and package info; it does not transmit your personal files.

2  How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, personalize, and maintain the Services (e.g., applying themes, arranging your home screen).

  • Suggest wallpapers, icon packs, or widgets based on your device and usage.

  • Process in‑app purchases and verify subscriptions.

  • Improve stability through crash reports and diagnostics.

  • Show contextual or interest‑based ads (only if you consent via the app’s privacy settings; see §2.4).

  • Communicate with you (e.g., updates, customer support).

  • Detect fraud, abuse, or security threats.

  • Comply with legal obligations.

We will ask for your consent before using information for any purpose not covered by this Policy.

2.1  Advertising & Analytics (§2.4)

Social Home may display ads provided by our monetization partners. Ad networks may receive your advertising ID, coarse location, and interaction data to serve non‑personalized or contextual ads. We do not sell personal data or allow third‑party interest‑based ads to target sensitive categories (e.g., race, health).

You can opt out of personalized ads at any time via Settings › Privacy inside the app or by resetting your Android advertising ID.

2.2  Sharing With Service Providers

We share data only with:

  • Cloud infrastructure & analytics vendors that process data on our behalf

  • Payment processors for in‑app purchases (we never see full card numbers)

  • Security vendors (e.g., Trustlook) for malware detection

All vendors must adhere to confidentiality and data‑security obligations consistent with this Policy and Google Play requirements.

2.3  Legal & Safety

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our users, Services, or the public.

2.4  Aggregated / De‑identified Data

We may publish or share aggregate statistics (e.g., number of active devices, most popular themes). These do not identify you.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access and receive a copy of the data we hold about you.

  • Correct inaccurate information.

  • Delete certain data.

  • Opt out of personalized advertising and data sharing.

4  Data Security & Retention

We use encryption in transit, secure servers, and access controls to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we regularly review and improve our safeguards.

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

5  Third‑Party Links & Content

Our Services may link to third‑party sites or display content from third parties (e.g., wallpaper providers). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not ours.
